An alliance of NGOs
With the support of the International ChildSafe Alliance team, we identify and assess potential partners across Indonesia. Then, in collaboration with the partner organization, we define a development plan and in collaboration with the entire ChildSafe Alliance network of organizations and international specialists, we help organize the support needed. Together we build common projects and collaboration that expands child protection across Indonesia.

Consultancies
Since 2018, Teman Baik has worked together with UNICEF Indonesia, spearheading several projects building the capacity of local stakeholders in child protection and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).
- Papua: In 2018, Teman Baik helped to combat pervasive child abuse risks in Papuan schools. Working in Papua and West Papua provinces, we built the capacity of 120 staff from UNICEF local non-profit partners to provide child protection training to teachers at rural schools.
- Palu: In 2019-2020, Teman Baik worked in Palu and Central Sulawesi to address widespread child abuse and exploitation risks in the wake of the 2018 earthquake and tsunami, which devastated the area. We provided training to over 1,000 volunteers and staff of government and local and international organizations on how to ensure children are protected during the recovery process.
- PSEA: Since 2020, we have developed and rolled out online training and coaching programs for dozens of local organizations throughout the country, ensuring they are able to put in place best practice PSEA policies and mechanisms.
